Villager Breeding Requirements

A villager can breed when its food level plus the food points in its inventory reach 12, it is an adult, and it is not sleeping. A new villager needs a free bed within 48 blocks that the parents can reach.

Iron Golem Spawning Mechanics

A villager wants an iron golem only if it slept within the last 24000 ticks, one in-game day. Villagers check for nearby iron golems every 200 ticks. A villager that saw an iron golem does not want another one for the next 599 ticks.

Villagers can gossip with each other again only after 1200 ticks. When villagers gossip, a golem spawns if five villagers within 10 blocks want one. When a villager panics, three villagers within 10 blocks that want a golem are enough.
